Words shape your world. Learn the tools to shape the conversation you're having with yourself.
OUR philosophy
Connection starts with understanding. Writing sits at the heart of understanding ourselves. When we write, we're asking ourselves to create shape around our thoughts, to articulate and understand self. It's through this process that we can come to new realisations. Putting pen to paper asks ourselves to patiently untangle our internal worlds.
Our connection to self feeds into how we connect with everyone else. When we can better understand our thoughts we can better explain ourselves. We can ask better questions, we can sit in a space of deeper empathy as we move through the world.
Curiosity is key. Questions are the thread between the conversation we have with ourselves and the rest of the world.

What's inside a workshop?
Our workshops are designed to give you the tools to build a writing habit, to find a process that lets you unpack yourself more deeply.
Designed with behaviour change in mind, you’ll be learning tools and ideas that you can use to shape the way you show up to different situations, build out your confidence, and tackle different aspects of your life.
You’ll take away frameworks and a workbook that can last as an evergreen guide; conversations, questions, and mindsets that can act as a springboard for how you speak with yourself when you put pen to paper, and that transfer into the way you speak to everyone else.
Science of Self Workshop

The conversations we have with ourselves shapes the way we relate to the world.

I’ve been facilitating workshops for the past 10 years and have run strategy sessions across Australia and Berlin. Nothing gives me more energy than connecting with people in these spaces and using connected containers as a way to build cohesion and explore ideas. We learn more in tandem, and groups give us the chance to explore and apply ideas in real time.
I started Archleys 6 years ago with a drive to help people unpack their internal worlds through writing. There is incredible research that unpacks the science behind the impact of writing and how, through narrative practices, we can improve our mental health and recalibrate how we relate and react to the past. In a world pushed and pulled by external voices and distractions, it seems now more than ever that it’s important for us to cultivate our ability to tune into our own voices and sense of self.
It’s from this place that we can better connect. When you shape the relationship you have with yourself it echoes out into the world and touches the way you interact with everyone else.
I hope to see you at one of our workshops or inside your workplace.

Build your team through deeper connections & increased critical thinking.
Writing workshops offer your team a rich, transferable tool, something they can use to unpack and understand workplace challenges, generate new ideas, and improve how they relate to the people around them.
We’ve been told that the skills we taught and the frameworks we shared are some of the most consistently used habits in the workplaces we’ve facilitated for.
Why? Because the ideas are simple but powerful. Ten minutes with a clear framework can shift perspective, reframe a situation, and prompt meaningful change.
When you teach your team to write and reflect, you’re not just improving how they connect with each other, you’re also helping them connect more deeply with themselves.
